She has an extensive educational experience and holds degrees from Rutgers University, Temple University, the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and the U.S. Army War College, including a Doctorate in Business Administration. She was trained as a toxicologist and is a Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt. In an interview with Rutgers in 2024 she said, “A military career is something to be proud of, and I love every opportunity to thank Veterans for their service.”
